Amid strong allegations that he forced players to play through injury, University of Illinois Football Coach Tim Beckman was fired earlier today.

It all started back in May, when former Illini lineman Cvijanovic accused Beckman of urging his players to play through injuries and dismissing Cvijanovic when he couldn't play anymore due to injuries.

The school has begun conducting an internal investigation into the program, and evidently the information they've gained so far isn't good.

Offensive Coordinator Bill Cubit will take over as Interim Head Coach.
