Gary has been playing radio since the 1970s while he was attending Oklahoma State University. Radio has been in his blood since he was a kid and listened to a transistor radio when he was supposed to be in bed. Gary grew up in Tulsa, home of Bob Wills and Roy Clark. His father was a huge fan of Eddy Arnold and Marty Robbins. So “Real Country” music is in his DNA.
Gary’s radio career has taken him from Stillwater, OK to Tulsa to St. Louis to Dallas-Ft. Worth. And for the last few years, he has been the Program Director for “Real Country.”
Gary is a baseball fanatic, along with being a huge fan of Oklahoma State football and basketball. When he’s not keeping up with those sports, he’s likely listening to music or playing poker.
